Mark Restaurant Hosting AIDS Benefit April 24
OLDE BURIEN – Join Washington State Representative Dave Upthegrove (D-33) in fighting AIDS, all while wining and dining at Burien’s Mark Restaurant & Bar during Dining Out for Life on Thursday, April 24.
Now in their second year of participation in Dining Out for Life, Mark Restaurant & Bar co-owners Chris Mark and Debra George will donate 30 percent of their establishment’s revenue for the entire day to the Lifelong Aids Alliance.
During Dining Out for Life, which is in its 15th year, 150 eateries will contribute to the Lifelong Aids Alliance, which is the largest HIV and AIDS service organization in the Pacific Northwest.
Volunteer ambassadors will serve as hosts for Dining Out for Life. While dining at the Mark that day, just ask a volunteer ambassador or restaurant staff for a raffle envelope for a chance to win two first-class tickets to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, from Alaska Airlines.
The nonprofit organization provides a variety of services to people living with HIV and AIDS in the Puget Sound region, including fresh meals and groceries from the Chicken Soup Brigade, Lifelong’s food program. Other services include housing, insurance, and education and prevention programs.
