Was myself in WW mid-June, and yes, it was BAD gas prices! However, cross the state line a short bit into Oregon and it was $4.09 at every station except the mini-mart at Crockett Rd. on the highway, which had WW prices. Guess where I went shortly out of my way to gas up for the trip home?
Tip for lodging in WW, and my only choice: exceptionally warm, friendly, homey, privately owned, with trees, garden, pond, to enjoy reading outside or visiting with friends, near the airport and really nice rooms, microwave/refrig included (my favorites are rooms 17 (biggest) or 3, (really cute, roomy too):
