The B-Town Blog welcomes its latest Advertiser: Tina Orwall, the Democratic nominee for State Representative, position one, 33rd Legislative District.

If elected this Nov. 4, Tina will replace retiring State Representative Shay Schual-Berke.

Literally dozens of groups and elected officials have endorsed Tina.

She has been rated “Outstanding” by the Municipal League of King County.

“I’ve spent my life helping people – developing award winning housing programs, assisting families in crisis, and serving our schools as a PTSA leader,” Tina said. “I will put my commitment and experience to work in Olympia to strengthen our economy, invest in our schools and protect our quality of life.”

She is challenged by Republican Todd Gibson, a teacher and advertising executive.

  1. Diogenes says:

The 33rd Legislative District has some the best representatives: US Senator Patty Murray, US Congressman Adam Smith, State Senator Karen Keiser, State Representative Dave Upthegrove. Each of them endorses Tina Orwall for state representative.

Tina has been serving our community for many years working on important issues like schools, healthcare, housing and the environment. She has a demonstrated record of success building partnerships to solve community issues. Her Republican opponent — not so much!

Tina Orwall’s opponent is blanketing the district with signs, continuing to hide his Republican affiliation. Signs are NOT evidence of ability or experience — just his deep pockets. Tina won the Primary with 60% of the vote.

Tina is the candidate with real leadership experience. Tina Orwall will be an effective voice for us in Olympia. Vote for experience. Vote Tina Orwall on November 4th.
