BTB Advertiser Highline Audiology is sponsoring a free Hearing Loss Seminar on Tuesday, Feb. 24th at 11:30am at the Burien Community Center, located at 425 SW 144th Street, Studio #2.

Here’s some info from their press release:

When someone in the family has a Hearing Loss, the entire Family has a Hearing Problem!

If you answer “Yes” to any of the following questions, you may have a Hearing Loss:

  • Does it seem as if people are mumbling?
  • Do you have difficulty tuning out background noise?
  • Do you misunderstand conversations?
  • Do you set the volume on the TV or radio so loud that others complain?

Come to our Hearing Loss Seminar and learn more about hearing loss and the new digital hearing aids.

Family Members are welcome.

EDITOR’S NOTE: I denied my own hearing loss for over 15 years. Then I got a hearing test at Highline Audiology, and found out I had about an 80% loss in my right ear!

They let me “test drive” a new digital hearing aid for a week, and suddenly I could hear a lot of what I had been missing: my wife’s whispers, my kids talking in the backseat of the car, and even the rustling of my coat sleeves as I walked.

If you’ve ever rocked out to the point of having your ears ring (like I did circa 1992), I highly recommend getting your hearing tested. Highline Audiology not only has the latest equipment, they’ve got great people and service!
