Burien’s Freedom Fitness Gym is holding “Workout For St. Jude,” a fundraiser for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital this Friday Feb. 20th and Saturday Feb. 21st, and for a $10 donation you can get a personal training session.

Here are the details:

Work out with a personal trainer for only $10 and help save the lives of children with life-threatening diseases.

Bring your friends! It’ll be a fun event for a great cause!

Since its inception, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital has developed protocols that have helped bring survival rates for childhood cancers from less than 20% to more than 70% overall. Participation in Workout for St. Jude helps raise funds to support St. Jude which treats patients regardless of a family’s ability to pay. No child is ever denied treatment becuase of the family’s inability to pay.

Our fundraiser is also a great opportunity for you to bring your friends to the gym that you’ve been trying to have come with you. For two days (2/20, 2/21) bring a friend to the gym with you for a great personal training session for a donation of $10 and the whole $10 goes to St. Jude’s.

Maybe we can raise enough money to pay for a chemotherapy session ($740) for a child who can’t afford it and wouldn’t make it without our support. But even if we only raise enough money for a blood test ($52) we’ll be able to say that we did our part in helping the children of St. Jude’s.

Bring as many friends as possible to raise more money. There will be prizes for those who bring several friends or more!

WHEN: Feb. 20, Friday 9am-8pm, and Feb. 21, Saturday 9am-2pm

WHERE: Freedom Fitness Gym, located at 12825 Des Moines Memorial Drive in Burien (map below)

COST: $10 donation, all proceeds go to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
