When you take a stroll down SW 152nd Street this week in Burien, you might see a pig or three.
No, it’s not a cop convention – we’re talking about numerous hand-painted pigs displayed in eight local store front windows!
Glendale Lutheran School students from preschool to sixth grade designed, painted and named all of the sassy swine.
Maps with the home of each hog can be picked up at participating local businesses with a competition to match the location and the name of the pig which can be returned to the school office (located at 13455 2nd Ave SW in Burien) to receive a prize.
An auction will be held at Glendale Lutheran School (map below) on Friday April 24th and Saturday April 25th. Families are welcome to attend the silent auction Friday at 5pm with free admission. Tickets are still available for Saturday’s live auction. Doors will open at 6pm, with dinner to follow at 6:45pm.
For ticket information contact the school office at (206) 244-6085. Please note that Saturday is an adult only event.
