UPDATE: Missing Mentally Disabled Man Found Fri. Morning
FRIDAY 6/26/09 UPDATE: Sgt. John Urquhart of the King County Sheriff’s Department reports that Sydney Wayne Aydelotte was found safe Friday morning around 7am in Auburn, so please disregard the request for help in finding him.
The King County Sheriff’s Department is asking for help from the public in finding a missing 57 year-old mentally disabled man named Sydney Wayne Aydelotte (pictured above, and below right), who was last seen at an adult family home in Auburn Wednesday morning (June 24th) about 8am.Â
Aydelotte is friendly, but appears to suffer from undiagnosed pre-dementia.
The adult home he is missing from is located at 28849 38th Avenue South in Auburn, in unincorporated King County. The man does not drive, stands 5â€™ 11â€ tall and weighs about 250 lbs with gray hair.
He was wearing a red shift shirt under a blue sweater and white shoes.
According to Sgt. John Urquhart, Aydelotte likes to collect tin cans, and will dumpster-dive to add to his collection. He possibly will ride Metro buses.
