Burien's "Artists United" Celebrating 60 Years By Offering Art To Businesses
Burien’s “Artists United” is celebrating its 60th Anniversary this year, by putting a call out to local businesses to display members’ art on their walls.
This is a great opportunity for local businesses to freshen up their office (or retail) space, add some art to their blank walls, replace faded artwork and inspire employees and customers or clients, and all without any expenses. The artwork displayed will be rotated on a bi-monthly basis and will be offered for sale.
This group has 105 artists that come together monthly to “share, learn and get inspired by each other.”
Here’s their press release:
Artists United, Burien area artist club is celebrating our 60th Anniversary this year. We have 105 artists that come together monthly to share, learn and get inspired by each other.
Our members work with watercolor, oil, acrylic, pastel, oil bars, charcoal, pencil, ink, mixed media and clay to create original pieces of art. Some of the methods we use include fresco, and sumi. We also have photographers, jewelers and a glass artist.
We would like to put a call to businesses that would be interested in displaying our members’ art on their walls!
The artwork displayed will be rotated on a bi-monthly basis and will be offered for sale.

“To see a painting occasionally in a museum will nourish your sense that this world is a beautiful place to be eagerly explored–but to see such a painting every single day, hanging in your living room, makes that more than a feeling you occasionally recapture.†~Sheri Tracinski
Painting by Carol Huddleston, member artist. The painting was done using oil on panel. It is 8×8 and is available for sale.
