We’d like to welcome our latest Advertiser to The B-Town Blog: The Yarn Stash!

Family-owned and operated, The Yarn Stash is a unique quality yarn boutique, located in the heart of Burien at 615 SW 152nd Street. They offer a wide variety of quality yarns and supplies for every aspect of knitting and crocheting. This mother-daughter team can get even the most timid excited about knitting.

Interested in perfecting your scarf making skills? Ever been curious what it takes to craft your own lace? The Yarn Stash offers a wide variety of classes for the newbie who doesn’t know a needle from a hook to the expert who would like some new finishing techniques. Drop-ins are always welcome with a home style seating area. So before you completely unravel your latest project let Bonnie or Beth help you unwind and finish your masterpiece with confidence.

Classes include beginner, private and kids knitting, sock making from toes to cuffs, crochet techniques and more. What better gift to give or receive than one made by the hand of a friend or loved one.

You can sign up for their monthly newsletter to receive updates on their project of the month, classes, charity projects and special events.

I have never knitted before and after one knitting class I already have enough confidence to knit a scarf. It’s baby steps but by the end of my three sessions I will have the confidence to take on a lot of projects. Bonnie is patient and funny!!
