Friends of the family of the late 5-year-old Shea Conor Owens are holding a car wash this Sunday, April 25th, starting at 10am at Alki Auto Repair, located at 2504 Alki Avenue Southwest, in West Seattle.

Shea Owens is the son of Dermot Owens, long-time manager of Mick Kelly’s Irish Pub in Burien. Shea died in a tragic accident on April 16 (read our previous coverage here).

All proceeds from this benefit will go to the “Little Shea Memorial Fund,” which has been set up to help the Owens family with funeral expenses and time off from work so they may mourn the loss of their son.

If you would like to make donations to help the Owens family, they can be made at any Key Bank of Washington: Little Shea Memorial Fund or via PayPal by clicking here.

To make a cash or check donation in person, you may do so at:

  • Mick Kelly’s Irish Pub & Restaurant, Burien
  • Mick Kelly’s at Full Throttle Bar & Grill, Renton
  • A Terrible Beauty Irish Pub, Renton
  • The Celtic Swell Pub & Restaurant, Alki, West Seattle

Don’t forget that there is a benefit concert and raffle at Mick Kelly’s coming up on May 6th. The best local musical talent ( Lynn Sorenson (Bad Company), Doug McGrew, Lloyd DeBarr and more) will be there to offer their support in this time of terrible loss.
