Burien’s Hospitality House Holding Volunteer Orientations May 10th

Burien’s Hospitality House, a local non-profit women’s shelter, is holding two volunteer orientation sessions on Monday, May 10th.

They’re seeking male and female volunteers to work as meal providers, fundraising volunteers, teachers of art and job skills, overnight volunteers (females only), board positions, as well as a general pool of citizens with misc. skills.

Here are the details:

WHAT: Volunteer Orientation for Hospitality House.

WHEN: Monday, May 10th – two sessions: 10:30am and 7pm.

WHERE: 10:30am session: Saltwater Unitarian Church, 25701 14th Place So. in Des Moines (Sanctuary Room).

7pm: St. Francis of Assisi Church, 15226 21st Ave. S.W in Burien (Unity Place #1).

VOLUNTEER ORIENTATION, HOSPITALITY HOUSE

Have you heard of our local women’s shelter in Burien? Perhaps your friends bring meals, or donate supplies.  Come join community from White Center to Federal Way who are gathering to learn how to get involved and assist Hospitality House in their efforts to shelter and aid homeless women.

There are two sessions to choose from.
