The Humane Society’s MaxMobile will make a return trip to the Burien Farmers Market today (Thursday, June 10), which means you should come shop, buy fresh produce, arts & crafts and possibly…a PUPPY (or kitten)!

The MaxMobile will be at the market the second Thursday of each month. Today it’s located on SW 152nd, across from Burien Press at the southern entrance to the market.

The bright, 33-foot, custom-built yellow RV will be here until around 3pm, providing pet adoptions on the spot – all you have to do is fill out a form, pay a fee and you can leave the market with a new friend.

According to the Humane Society’s website:

Our MaxMobile (affectionately known as “Max”) has traveled all over Seattle and King County bringing adoptable dogs and cats to schools, shopping malls, community events and festivals!

Max has also been featured at the Seattle Humane Society’s Adventure Day Camp for kids, and at Catapalooza, our annual Cat Adoption Extravaganza.

If you’d like Max to come visit your school, event, or community group, please email [email protected].

Here are some pics taken by Scott Schaefer of “Max” and its cute, furry inhabitants that last time it was at the Farmers Market:

The Burien Farmers Market runs every Thursday through October, from 11am – 6pm, downtown at Town Square on SW 152nd and 5th SW.
