VIDEO: Burien Yodeler Manuela Horn Will MC Wild Strawberry Fest Sunday
Burien’s annual Wild Strawberry Festival is this coming weekend (Sat./Sun. June 19-20) at Town Square, with tons of FREE live music, food, entertainment, family fun, and more, including one of our favorite Burien-area residents, the “Yodeling Dominatrix” also known as Manuela Horn, who will be emceeing the main stage on Sunday from 10am – 4pm.
Manuela will do some yodeling, some singing, some joking and…she’ll also be riding her mechanical sheep “Bob.”
You read that right – your neighbor who once appeared as a Yodeling Dominatrix on “America’s Got Talent” (read our previous coverage here) will now entertain everyone by yodeling whilst zipping around on a mechanical sheep built by Steve Huff from Huff Motorsports right here in Burien.
We ran into Manuela and her sheep recently while hanging out with our Flip cam at Town Square, where the event takes place, and shot this promo video of her:
The B-Town Blog will be a sponsor, and we’ll be “blogging live” the entire weekend from our tent near SW 151st and 5th SW (by the old B/IAS site):
- Saturday, June 19, 2010 10:00 am – 6:00 pm
- Sunday, June 20, 2010 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
Burien Town Square is located at SW 152nd St & SW 5th Ave in downtown Burien.
