SLIDESHOW: Sights And Sounds From Burien’s Independence Day Parade

Despite threatening gray skies, residents lined the streets of downtown Burien to celebrate the 4th of July with the annual Independence Day Parade. Excited kids and adults alike enjoyed a procession of vintage and modern cars, motorcycles, police and fire vehicles, marching bands and participants from many local community organizations.

Fortunately for all involved, the rain held off until almost the end of the parade! Kudos to everyone involved in a very successful parade.

Photographer Michael Brunk was in Burien and put together this slideshow set to audio recorded live at the parade. (With additional photos from contributing photographer Lindsey Brunk, who managed to capture a few shots that dad missed!)
