Could Burien Nissan Be Re-Opening? Here’s Another Craigslist Job Listing

Print This Post  Email This Post

A Craigslist Ad posted Sunday night (July 25) indicates that a company called Car Pros may be re-opening Burien Nissan, which has been closed and vacant since last March.

However, this isn’t the first time an Ad has teased a possible re-opening – as we first reported in September 2009, another, very similar Craigslist Ad hinted then that a re-opening was imminent (see that Ad here), but in the end it fell through – so we encourage our Readers to take this with a grain of salt until confirmed.

Another hint that something may be up at the longtime, recently-remodeled dealership was a Comment left by a Reader named Jen (read that here).

We’re currently investigating this story, and will post it as soon as we get more news, so stay tuned to The B-Town Blog by RSS Feed here, or via email here.

Wonder if they’ll also have some English language signs out as opposed to the all Spanish signs that I saw flying for weeks prior to their closing. Also, do you think they’d still honor the lifetime oil changes for Nissans purchased before the closing?

I doubt that a completely different company would honor free lifetime oil changes, but they might, if they thought it would get you to consider upgrading through them…so i guess that stays a maybe.

Hmm… I guess you didn’t see all the English signage?

Wouldn’t you call it good business practice to have signage that caters to the local population?

Whether you like it or not ( and I can tell by the majority of your posts with racist tones), a large portion of the Burien population is Hispanic. Hence the reason for the latin market, the abundance of Mexican and other Latino restaurants, as well as Spanish signage on local businesses.

Either move if you don’t like what the area has become, or learn to deal with it.

Fingers crossed…it would be very good for the area to have a solid business operating in that location again.
