We drove past Burien Nissan Sunday night (Aug. 8), and noticed not only the lights on, but several new cars parked in the lot! We quickly snapped the shot below with our cell phone while stopped at the stoplight.

The lot has essentially sat vacant since spring of 2009, so this is evidence that new owner Car Pros is making progress (read our most recent coverage here):

Look closely and you can see new cars parked in the Burien Nissan lot, which has sat empty since spring of 2009.

Photographer Michael Brunk stopped by Burien Nissan on Monday and shot a few additional photos. Besides cars on the lot there are definite signs of activity in the showroom as well. We’ll update you with more details as they become available.

Those all look like new cars just off of the transport truck (the white panels on the cars are protective paper/film to help prevent scratches and such while the cars are in transit to their dealers).
I hope this is real as it would be a big shot in the arm for downtown Burien (and its nice to have a service center close by too).

Dang… I just thought it was a cool new color scheme and was on my way to buy one… Never mind. KIDDING! On my way to buy a new Nissan from Burian Nissan. I’ve been waiting for this!
