Sam the Sausage (aka “Super-Brat”) is not your average sausage.

A self-described “high-powered” attorney, he is a senior partner at “Dudley, Winston and Brat,” a prominent Seattle firm know for its high-profile international treaty work.

In his free time, Mr. Sausage is pushing the limits of what is possible for minced meat stuffed into a casing.

Speaking in a thick German-Russian and broken English ‘ach-zent,’ Mr. Sausage describes his latest venture participating in Over the Edge for Special Olympics:

“I have train feverishly to climb to top of large building. I learn that they only will let me go down, so I will follow their little rules zis time.  Special Olympics is great cause!”

That’s right folks – a Burien-based sausage (not named Dan) will be rapelling down a skyscraper tomorrow to help Special Olympics! And you can sponsor him by clicking here.

What’s next? After the rappel, Mr. Sausage is setting his sights on the quintessential prize in the world of sausage – that’s right, he’s planning on competing in this year’s Burien Brat Trot on Sunday, Sept. 19th in Olde Burien. He expects to take top honors, upsetting local sausage “Bret the Brat.”

Mr. Sausage maniacally exclaimed:

“Bret is disgrace to sausage.

I must restore the honor to my kind.

It will be fun to grind Bret into little meaty bits, then encase him and eat him mit eine gut Hefeweizen!

Then maybe, I adopt Little Link after race…mu-hu-ha-ha-ha!”

Mr. Sausage is scheduled to rappel down Rainier Tower in downtown Seattle tomorrow, Saturday, Aug. 13th @ 12 noon.

We hope the rope is strong enough to support his super sausage ego.
