The Washington State Patrol is reporting that a bride-to-be was arrested for DUI early Saturday morning, just hours before her Burien wedding.

The 31 year old Bellevue woman was busted just after 6am by a Trooper, who clocked her traveling in excess of 90 MPH on northbound I-405 near NE 8th Street while weaving in and out of her lane.

When the trooper stopped her, she told him she was heading home from her Bachelorette Party in Issaquah and was getting married in Burien early that afternoon. The bride admitted she had been arrested once before for DUI and she was familiar with the routine.

The bride’s BAC level was .146, nearly twice the legal limit in Washington.

The bride will face charges in King County District Court.

No word yet on whether the actual wedding was delayed.

6:00 a.m. Must have been a good party,, heh-heh, now she gets to miss her own wedding or be there in shackles,,
Wouldn`t that make for a GREAT wedding video to show your kids,,
HER: Hey kids, this is mommy at her wedding,,
Her kids: “what are you wearing on your hands and feet mommy”?

Isn’t it’s the Maid of Honor’s job to get the bride home from the bachelorette party?

Is the bill for the DUI a seperate property debt ?
