Today’s Burien Farmers Market is bustling with a full street full of vendors, including the usual fresh produce, arts, crafts, live music and more, as well as cooked-on-the-spot Kettle Corn and Roasted Corn.

We’ve got five DVDs left of the Burien documentary “B-Town: How Burien Came Into Its Own” for sale for just $15 each at our booth, with all proceeds going to local charity Hospitality House (we’ll be here until around 3/4pm so get down here).

On the local newsfront, around 11am this morning an elderly man fell and struck his head on the east edge of the market. Photographer Michael Brunk got this pic of the Burien/Normandy Park Fire Department treating him on the scene:

Medics treat an elderly man at the Burien Farmers Market Thursday. The man apparently fell, suffered a small head laceration that "looks worse than it was." Medics took the man to Highline Medical Center.
