VIDEO/PHOTOS: Saturday’s Wet But Wonderful Arts-A-Glow

Despite a soggy Saturday night (Sept. 18th), the artistic revelry of Burien’s annual Arts-A-Glow Festival lit up downtown Burien, with a good turnout of local artists, musicians, residents and children.

Publisher/Editor Scott Schaefer served as emcee for the event, and in-between announcing acts and interviewing artists, he shot some video of the fantastic lantern procession, which featured live music from the Yellow Hat Band, Cabiri Stiltwalkers in illuminated costumes designed by artist Leslie Zenz, and of course all sorts of artists, residents and children marching around Burien Town Square with their own lantern creations:

I see no mention of your advertiser Abyssinian Dance Center! The instructors and students braved the rain to entertain the Burien Community. Kudos to them.
