Our friends and B-Town Blog Advertisers Market Place Salon and Day Spa would like us to share this exciting news with our readers – they’re doing a makeover and a name change to Serenza Salon and Spa!

Here’s their press release:

Market Place Salon was a perfectly good name for a first-time business when it was located right next to the Pike Place Market in downtown Seattle. After many successful years at that location, the locally owned salon had built up a large and loyal clientele, so when they moved to their current location in Burien they decided to keep the name, at least for a while.

That turned out to be a long while. But now that the salon owners about to embark on what they are calling a makeover, they recently unveiled their new company identity. With the help of Seattle communications and marketing firm Cain Creative, they have developed a unique name and logo combination that more accurately reflects who they are and what they do. The new name, Serenza Salon & Spa, was designed to express that feeling of well-being, serenity and beauty that the owners strive to provide to their guests every time they visit us.

Serenza Salon & Spa hasn’t changed ownership. It is still owned and operated by Normandy Park residents Daniel and Melinda Keane, who will continue to offer a complete selection of salon and spa services performed by their team of stylists, massage therapists and estheticians.

According to Daniel Keane, this is just the beginning. “We think everyone could use a complete makeover once in a while, so we’re not done yet,” he said. “Our new name is just the first part of the exciting changes we have planned, so we invite you to stay tuned. We look forward to the next few months as we reintroduce ourselves to our guests and to the world as Serenza Salon & Spa.”
