Advertiser Dr. Chilton of Olympic View Dental Celebrates 20 Years in Practice
We’d like to welcome our newest advertiser, Paul Chilton, DDS and his staff at Olympic View Dental.
Dr. Chilton is celebrating 20 years of making beautiful smiles at his state-of-the-art dental clinic and giving back to the community.
Dr. Chilton’s family has been a part of the Highline communities since 1952 when his parents moved to Normandy Park. While growing up he witnessed his parents giving back to the community. Some highlights are founding members of a local swimming pool and founding member of the community club “The Cove.” His dad was an original docent of Tukwila’s Museum of Flight, and served on numerous community boards for the local community. Dr. Chilton’s mother was active with the Burien Art Guild and a head docent at the Seattle Art Museum for over 25 years.
It is no surprise that Dr. Chilton has followed in his parent’s footsteps when it comes giving back to the community. He and his wife Suellen have made a life-long commitment to support worthy causes locally, nationally and internationally, with an emphasis on the local aspect of support.
Over the years you’ll find that much of their extra-curricular activities have gone to support the local schools that their three daughters have attended, including Marvista, Pacific Middle School and Mount Rainier High School. They are also proud to support Saint Francis’ Annual Auction, John Knox Presbyterian Church and local events and charities.
Not only was Dr. Chilton born at what eventually became Highline Medical Center back when it was Burien General, he has literally returned to the place of his birth to serve as Staff Dentist at HMC where he councils long term patients with dental problems. He also has served on the HMC Foundation Board, as well as The Normandy Park Community Club and mentors students at the Aviation High School as well as a Mentor at the University of Washington Dental School.
“We are proud to be part of the community, and it’s nice to be in the position to do the proper thing,” said Dr. Chilton.
Starting November 1, through the end of the year the “proper thing” is raising food and money for Northwest Harvest with Olympic View’s annual holiday food drive. You can drop your non-perishable food at 19703 First Ave in Normandy Park.
At Olympic View they specialize in Implants, Cosmetic and General Dentistry. They also welcome all new patients. In fact they have a great referral program for current patients, to recommend new patients.
“It has been my pleasure and honor to serve the community for now over twenty years. On behalf of my wife Suellen and myself, I want to thank all those whom have allowed us to help and support each and every cause. It has truly been a wonderful experience and we look forward to many more years to come,” said Dr. Chilton. “Please keep abreast of our efforts by reviewing our facebook and/or our website for upcoming events and charities that we are involved in,” he added.
“In addition, if I can be of any service with any dental needs of self or friends or family I invite you to contact me or my office with questions or referrals. [email protected] or call 206-824-4700,” he concluded.
