Burien’s Mark Restaurant will be hosting its Second Annual FREE Community Dinner on Thanksgiving Day (Thursday, Nov. 25th), between 2pm – 6pm, where they’re inviting folks in need to come enjoy turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, vegetables and pumpkin pie.

All they ask that if you want to attend to bring a simple side dish, just like going to “Moms House” to share with your table or others. They will also provide coffee, soda and tea.

It will be Debra, Chris, Nicholas and Samantha serving up the food as all the wonderful Mark staff will be home with their families.

So if you are looking for someplace to go, don’t want to cook and want to meet others in the community, come and join the Mark family at their second annual Community Meal.

Help them out by RSVPing at (206) 241-6275.

“All are welcomed, bring the entire family….come and visit!”

I bragged on this event to people from all over the area as an example of how great Burien is. (Also I would pretty much fight to the death for the Mark’s mac & cheese). I hope the dinner was a huge, huge success.

Dane and I had our thanksgiving dinner here this year. We had many offers from friends to join them but we were still in quite a bit of shock from losing the house and having somewhere to go that was welcoming, warm and had a delicous traditional dinner was so amazing for us. Thank you Debra, Chris, Nicholas and Samantha for all you do for the community!
