Friend of The B-Town Blog and advertiser Jim Coleman, DDS, and crew are holding their annual Stuffed Animal Drive for children who visit the Highline Medical Center Emergency Rooms, and they’re looking for donations.

Every year, between pre-Thanksgiving until just before Christmas, the folks at Dr. Coleman’s office collect and deliver stuffed animals to Highline Medical Center’s Emergency Room. The huggable little buddies help calm children who visit the Emergency Room seeking care for injury or illness.

Please feel free to donate stuffed animals directly to Dr. Coleman’s office, during regular business hours, at 1800 SW 152nd Street in Burien.

We asked Lynn Coleman: “What if a grown up, adult patient gets a little scared visiting the ER. Can they hug a stuffed animal, too?”

“Of course!” Lynn assured The B-Town Blog.

“We will get the stuffed animals to the ER on the 22nd of December so if you want to drop them by our office before then, it will be great! Let’s make those kids comfortable, loved and cared for in the best and newest ER in the Seattle area!”

Dr. Coleman’s office phone number is 206-242-4477.
