‘Christmas Ship’ Making Two Area Appearances This Year

For many area residents, the annual Christmas Ship is a highlight of the season, and this year the festive flotilla will be making two appearances in Des Moines – Wednesday, Dec. 8th and Thursday, Dec. 16th.

Many like to watch and listen from the shore (for no charge), often with bonfires and friends/family, and the time windows for local areas is listed below.

Cost to get on board either the lead ship or follow boat appears to be $25 per person, with an option to purchase food as well (see details here).

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 8 (VALUE NIGHT)
CHOIR: The Dicken’s Carolers
Depart: Des Moines 7:00pm, Return: 9:35pm (Value Night)
