PHOTOS: Scenes From Three Tree Point Polar Bear Plunge

Today’s beautiful, blue skies and sunshine didn’t really contribute much to warming up the waters of Puget Sound, but that didn’t dissuade a record number of local residents from plunging in anyway.

With estimates from 40 to over 50 participants, this year’s Polar Bear Plunge at Three Tree Point in Burien was the largest yet.

When all the splashing and shivering was over, The B-Town Blog’s own Bart Bryan walked away with the annual Polar Bear trophy and a commitment to splash in again next year.
