We’re proud to have two very talented Interns working for The B-Town Blog (and our five sister sites) this year, both hailing from Big Picture High School in nearby SeaTac.

Our Artist/Animator Intern is Bryan Charles, who was generous enough to share some of his hand-drawn artworks, proving that yes indeed, he can do more than just goofy comedy animations about ‘3 Frog Bros.

Here’s four original works of his, including his explanations below each (click each image to see bigger pictures):

"This image was created only with felt markers, It uses cloud effects, splashing, ripples, grass and trees, This may be my best work."

"This was my only watercolor endeavor, and taking 14 layers, 2 days and lots of cleaning. I will never do it again."

"My first marker landscape, I attempted to make water, and the sky is a strange blend of aqua and azure, houses, plants, trees, water ripples, clouds, and grass."

"I created this as my first sunset picture, blending a dozen markers together in the sky was tricky, and it was fun to do the sun and the water rippling, water, sun, gradient sky, grass, reflection."
