Highline Medical Center Foundation Names Susan Bean As Executive Director

The Highline Medical Center Foundation announced Thursday (Jan. 20th) that it has appointed Susan Bean, CFRE, as its new Executive Director responsible for leading the Foundation’s philanthropic activities with special events, planned giving programs, annual giving programs and sponsorships.

“Bean has extensive experience in leading non-profit foundations and expert knowledge of the Northwest’s philanthropic community,” according to a press release.

Most recently, she served as chief development and marketing officer for the Camp Fire Central Puget Sound Council. Prior to Camp Fire, she was the executive director for the Seattle Community Colleges and Northwest Burn Foundation as well as the director of major gifts for the Seattle University’s School of Law. While with the Community Colleges, she directed two successful capital campaigns including a $30-million comprehensive capital campaign that encompassed four non-profit foundations, three college campuses and numerous satellite educational and vocational programs. Bean was also a recipient of the Medina Foundation’s Non-Profit Excellence Award given to non-profit managers for excellence in fiscal and organizational management.

Highline Medical Center Foundation raises money for health care services and facilities in the Highline communities of Burien, Des Moines, Federal Way, Normandy Park, SeaTac, Tukwila, West Seattle and White Center. The Foundation’s projects are entirely supported by charitable contributions that are used to assist Highline Medical Center to build new facilities, remodel old ones, purchase new equipment, provide health related services to the community and to assist those who need outpatient care, but lack the resources to afford it.

    Planetree model of care, we are committed to caring for each patient and his or her family with genuine respect, understanding and compassion i guess there ER doesent follow this policy
