We are pleased to announce that we’ve joined forces with Prudential Northwest Realty Associates (PNW) for a second year to bring our readers the most up to date real estate listings available in the Highline area. And if you love going to open houses, you’ll find them featured here every Friday.

With just one click technology you can click on the real estate section in our navigation bar…check out the new “Powered by Prudential” tab in the far right side of our screen for the latest listings in the area.

Managing Broker Lori Alden tells the blog that “our knowledge, innovative market strategies and commitment to service make selling homes faster and easier.”

Here are two examples of innovative and exclusive strategies implemented by PNW to assist buyers in buying and selling a home. First is their Personal Investment Profile (PIP) and the second is Market Tracker.:

  • Personal Investment Profile (PIP)–An exclusive Prudential report that summarizes current real estate activity in our area based on current Multiple Listing Service regional analysis
  • Market Tracker–An exclusive Prudential report that informs you of residential real estate sales activity and regional trends. It gives you a broader look at the real estate market

For more information about PIP and Market Tracker, call a Prudential agent at 206-244-6400.

This award winning real estate company is ranked by J.D. Power and Associates as the “Highest Satisfaction for Home Sellers among National Full Service Firms.”

Lori said, “We love our community! Many of our 50+ licensed brokers have deep roots here. Many are long-time community members, with a vested interests in the Highline area.”

According to Lori, community volunteerism is part of PNW’s mission. Not only do agents participate in Global Volunteer Day where they collect food for the Highline and Des Moines Food Banks, they also conduct food drives in their office at 127 SW 156th in Burien. They are an official drop off site at Christmas for Toys for Tots. Additionally they are active in Discover Burien and Destination Des Moines.

Both of these organizations are grass roots community and business-based organizations developed to enhance the business as well as social climate of the areas they serve. You’ll see Lori and her crew of happy PNW volunteers at such events as The Farmers Market, Clean Sweep, Boo in Burien, Winterfest and more.

Des Moines resident Bradley Hawthorne, PNW’s Sales Manager is the newly elected President of Destination Des Moines. He and his group of volunteers have been working tirelessly to bring event driven activities back to Des Moines.

Rounding out the management team is Stu Engstrom, Sales Manager. Besides volunteering at the Burien Farmers Market, no one is quite sure what Stu does in his spare time, but everyone agrees that he looks good doing it! He’s got to be the best-dressed realtor in Southwest King County!

Because we like to add a little humor to our stories, here’s one we particularly liked. While interviewing Lori for this story she told us of coming to Burien in 1993 to manage the new PNW office, then located in Olde Burien. This was a big step for her, as, well, she’s a city girl. She rarely left West Seattle… and certainly not for the likes of Burien.

She settled into her new digs and heard the sound of a rooster crowing down the street at the then Kirk’s Feed Store. After she regained consciousness she wondered what she had done to her life and her real estate career. Long story short her perceptions of Burien and barn animals quickly changed. “I love Burien. I love what Burien has become, and will continue to become. And I wouldn’t ‘feel at home’ anywhere else,” she stated emphatically.

So there you have the lowdown on our exclusive real estate partner, Prudential Northwest Realty Associates. Cutting edge technology, a team of over 50 professional agents and active in the communities in which they live. A winning team in real estate sales… and life!
