REMINDER: Poverty Bay Wine Festival Will Be Uncorked Friday Night At 5pm!

UPDATE: Late breaking news! Internationally known electric violinist Steve Kindler will be performing with Mambo Cadillac on Friday Night, March 4th, at 6 PM at the Poverty Bay Wine Festival at the the Landmark Event Center in Des Moines.

PREVIOUSLY: Des Moines Rotary’s 7th Annual Poverty Bay Wine Festival will be officially uncorked Friday night (March 4th), starting at 5pm at the historic and grand Landmark Event Center.

Opening night will be “Fifteen Token Friday,” which means you’ll receive five extra tasting tokens for the price of ten! And don’t miss musical entertainment from Tor Dietrichson’s Band Mambo Cadillac, which begins at 6pm.

This year, in addition to enjoying outstanding live jazz in a historic setting for a great cause, you’ll be able to sample from 22 Northwest wines such as Five Star Cellars, Tempus Cellars and Vashon Winery, as well as groove on the dance floor.

Free parking and a free shuttle service will run from the Des Moines Marina to the Landmark Event Center all three days of the festival. Limited paid parking will be available on site for $10.00.

Wine Festival Tickets are $25.00 ($30 at the door), which includes 10 tasting tokens (tastings range from 1 – 3 tokens). Additional tasting tokens available for $1.00. Buy yours online now by clicking here.

The historic Landmark Event Center, which once housed a Masonic Retirement Home (and allegedly houses a ghost named “George“), is located at 23660 Marine View Drive South in Des Moines.
