BTB Tipster Mike Bishoff alerted us to a major rollover accident on the southbound lanes of SR-509 near the S. 160th exit Thursday afternoon.

We’re still awaiting word from the Washington State Patrol on the cause of the accident, or whether there were any injuries or fatalities, and when we do we’ll update this post.

We sent Photographer Michael Brunk over, and he shot these pics:

The smaller sedan hit the back of the overturned Jeep at excessive speed. That flipped the Jeep. That man seemed to not be injured. Lucky he had his seat belt on! The sedan rolled and landed upright. A couple was in that car. The woman was walking around with no apparent injury. The man was disoriented with a small laceration on his head. I heard possibly that alcohol was involved. Pretty scary.
