This is a beautiful location. Where is it? How can I get there/

    • Greg Rehmke says:

Eagle Landing Park is at SW 149th St., and 25 Ave SW. The entrance is hard to see from the street. There is a small parking lot, but again, it is hard to see.

We regret that one of our favorite parks is difficult to find. Not only is it a bit off the beaten path to begin with, unfortunately a drunk driver “took out” the large streetside park sign and there is a considerable expense to replace it. (Yes, the driver left the scene of the accident and left us with the bill.)

Here’s a link we’ll hope will be helpful to you for navigating your way there; it’s well worth a visit: http://goo.gl/X4ZFW … look for what appears to be a driveway, and the parking area is at the bottom of the drive next to a kiosk. Enjoy your visit!
