Do YOU Have What It Takes? Find Out At The B-Town Bike Fair Saturday

The B-Town Bike Fair wants to know… do you have what it takes?  Do you have what it takes to navigate dangerous obstacles while on two wheels (such as orange rubber traffic cones)?

Do you have what it takes to replace a flat tire in record time (or experience our special simulation pumping up a balloon)?

Do you have what it takes to take an extreme cycling challenge (pretty much confined to a flat, safe, one block area with no cars) AND do this all with your child in tow (or pet as the case may be)?

The B-Town Bike Fair runs from 10am – 3:30pm Saturday.

If the answer to these questions is yes, you might be exactly the kind of elite cyclist the B-Town Bike Fair is looking for to take on the Family Bike Challenge this Saturday, June 18th, starting at 2pm.

The Family Bike Challenge will involve a course of bicycling challenges for parents with kids in trailers, trail-a-bikes, or any other conveyance to test their cycling skills among Burien’s most intense parental competition.

There will be balloons to pop, cones to weave around, water bottles to squirt, kick stands to…. well kick, and a few other insurmountable cycling tasks.

Held in conjunction with the Wild Strawberry Festival, The B-Town Bike Fair will take place on SW 152nd Street and 5th Ave SW this Saturday only from 10am to 3:30pm.  The Family Bike Challenge will take place between 2 and 3pm.
