On the first day of Summer (Tuesday, June 21) at 8:30 a.m., BTB Advertiser Serenza Salon & Spa (formerly Marketplace Salon) officially welcomed its first customer to its new location, as owner Daniel Keane cut the hair of Debra George, co-owner of The Mark Restaurant, partner in Burien’s new CARES Animal Control and Discover Burien Event Manager.

The new salon is located at 120 SW 160th Street (map below), where Seahurst Chiropractic used to be, and the space has been totally remodeled. Lots of natural light, complemented with calming natural colors and gorgeous detail work makes for a relaxing, beautiful atmosphere to, well…relax and get beautified in.

According to their website:

It’s no surprise that Serenza Salon & Spa has been voted “Best in the South Sound” for 6 years and nominated for Best Day Spa in Western Washington for 2009 & 2010.

Owned and operated by internationally celebrated colorist, stylist, platform artist and teacher, Daniel Keane, Serenza is the place to go for head-to -toe beauty and serenity. Their team of spa professionals offers a wide variety of reviving, rejuvenating and gently healing treatments that includes natural facials, soothing and therapeutic massages, herbal contour wraps, and full-body hydrating masques.

Whether you’re looking for the perfect cut and color, a high-tech shellac manicure, a personalized makeover or a full day of spectacular spa treatments, you’ll find it all at Serenza. No matter what you choose, you’ll leave feeling renewed, refreshed and beautiful.

Natural curves, colors and clean lines make for a gorgeous new location for Serenza Salon & Spa.

Skylights allow for a lot of natural light to flow into Serenza's new space.

Beautiful little details like the word "Welcome" written in sand underneath glass at the main desk make the new location sparkle.
