UPDATE 6/27/11 8 p.m.: According to a Status Update on Facebook from Dana Stimpson Franks:

“We found Patches … and she’s back in our loving arms again. A good Samaritan took her to a shelter, found our post on Craigslist, called us, and let us know where she was. I love this community! Thanks so much to all.”

PREVIOUSLY: BTB Reader Dorothy Franks wants everyone to be on the lookout for her lost 8-year old Boston Terrier dog ‘Patches’ (pictured above) last seen late Friday night/early Saturday morning (June 25-26) in the vicinity of Ambum Blvd. SW and SW 167th.

“She will come if you call her name, she is super friendly,” Dorothy said. “Please call if you see her or have her. Thank you.”

If you’ve seen Patches, please call 206-818-5781 immediately.

Owners should be aware that there is a coyote roaming this area during the night.

Yes indeed…I live on 174th and Ambaum So. and a coyote tried to eat my cat…I went out because I heard a noise, and saw there was a fight of some kind…thought it was raccoons, but when my cat tumbled down the hill onto the street…I figured it out. Another neighbor out walking his dog saw the coyote, too. Beware!!

And I am curious…to which shelter did they take her? We don’t have one here that I know of….especially for stray cats. And good luck trying to find Animal Control…I haven’t found it yet…just a thought

Agree……would like to know the location of that shelter. Also, that’s pretty cool that the person took the time to check on Craigslist.
