
The annual ‘Aloha `O Na Kupuna Music & Dance Festival’ will be held from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. this Saturday, July 16th at John F. Kennedy Catholic High School in Burien.
The theme this year is ‘Christmas in July,’ and doors open at 9 a.m. with continuous entertainment until 9 p.m.
Tickets are $7 each, with Seniors 65 years and older, as well as Children under the age of 10 Yrs are FREE!
A portion of Proceeds will go to the `Heal My Heart Fund`for Kealoha Cabunoc’s Catastrophic Medical Needs.

Far cry from the old “all city” drug/drink fests,, ooops, I mean “all city” dances they used to have there 35 years ago..*lol*
I thought the Kennedy all city dances went quite well. There was a bit of drinking/smoking outside but all in all they had a lot of adults there and there was some incredible music we got to hear. The Bachman-Turner overdrive concert was an awesome experience and Five Man Electrical Band was another great one.
I wish someone had a site that listed all the bands that played there.
