Boy Scouts Robbed Of ‘About $1,700’ At Sylvester Middle School Monday Night
Local Boy Scouts were robbed of around $1,700 worth of equipment from their trailer parked overnight at Sylvester Middle School in Burien Monday night, according to police.
According to Sgt. John Urquhart of the King County Sheriff’s Office, the scouts parked their trailer on school grounds around 8:30 p.m. Monday night (July 18), then left.
“When they came back the next morning, someone had busted off the lock on the door of the trailer and several items were missing, including a boys’ compound bow, arrows, a drill, a generator, and a sledge hammer,” Urquhart said.
The total loss is estimated to be “about $1,700.”
