Former Highline School District Athletic Assistant Sentenced To 13 Months

On Friday, July 22nd, former Highline School District Athletic Assistant Jayson Wayne Boehm was sentenced to 13 months for “conducting medical exams on students without a license.”

According to the King County Prosecutors Office, Boehm pleaded guilty in June as charged to four counts of Unlicensed Practice of Medicine. Boehm is not a physician or physician’s assistant.

Boehm also pleaded guilty to Forgery for forging a medical form, as well as Theft First Degree.

As we’ve previously reported [1], Boehm was also formerly employed by the Highline School District as substitute stadium manager at Highline’s Memorial Field. He also served as a volunteer for athletic teams at Evergreen High School, and was contracted to provide first aid at athletic events, which he was licensed to provide as an emergency medical technician (EMT). The state later revoked his EMT and other health care licenses.
