Organizers of Burien’s upcoming Arts-A-Glow Lantern Festival & Procession are in need of empty plastic water bottles, and are asking our Readers to pitch in and bring clean, empty bottles to the Burien Community Center next week – from Tuesday, Sept. 6th through Friday, Sept. 9th.

“They make great lanterns!” said Gina Kallman.

The community center is located at 14700 6th Ave SW, and is open Monday – Thursday from 8:30 a.m. – 8 p.m. and Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.

We’re proud to be a Sponsor of the Arts-A-Glow Festival, this year being held in Dottie Harper Park from 5 p.m. – 10 p.m. Saturday Sept. 10th – for more information, visit www.burienwa.gov/GLOW.
