At precisely 2:05 a.m. PDT today (Friday, Sept. 23rd), the Autumnal equinox occurred, ushering B-Town and the rest of the Northern Hemisphere into the season of spiderwebs, football, cooler temps, longer nights, colorful leaves, drizzling rain, and everyone’s favorite – a brand new season of “Glee”!

The word “equinox” comes from the Latin words for “equal night.” The fall and spring equinoxes are the only days of the year in which the Sun crosses the celestial equator.

Happy Fall from everyone at The B-Town Blog!
