The 2011 Burien Brat Trot and Oktoberfest enjoyed a record-breaking fundraising event in more categories than one last weekend, including:

• Record registrations (nearly 1,000)
• Record finish times
• Over 200 Pub Crawlers
• Tripled sponsor investments
• Record dollars raised for the beneficiaries Highline Schools Foundation for Excellence and Safe Kids King County South
• Largest chicken in attendance!

Also, we somehow convinced Brat Trot runner Brent Volle to stick a GoPro HD video camera to his head – allowing you to see the entire race from his viewpoint! Be sure to watch until the end for the final sprint with his son Max to the Finish Line:
