Highline Schools Foundation’s Oktoberfest Fundraiser Sets New Record!
This past weekend the Highline Schools Foundation for Excellence held their annual Oktoberfest fundraiser at The Cove in Normandy Park with record-setting success!
Executive Director Ashley Fosberg tells us:
Together, we raised over $45,000 for students in the Highline School District—a record amount for this event! These funds will be used to directly support classroom innovation through teacher grants, sports participation fees, arts programs, college readiness, scholarships and other programs that directly help our students.
Oktoberfest was a great success in another way—it brought us all together to celebrate our schools and to remind us of the good work we can do as a school community. Parents, administrators, teachers, staff and community members were all represented—truly inspiring!
The Highline Schools Foundation ‘provides community resources to help all Highline Public Schools succeed,’ and Oktoberfest goes a long way to help the effort. Thanks to all who supported the event!
