The Burien CARES Animal Control ‘Pets of the Week’ this week are a 2-year old Female Tortoise Shell Cat named ‘Sweet Pea,’ and a Male Pit Bull mix dog named ‘Buddy,’ both altered and up-to-date on their shots:

My name is Sweet Pea.
I am a 2-year old Female Tortoise Shell Cat.
I am shy at first and may take a day to adjust.
I prefer to sleep with someone and my favorite toys are Ribbons.
I have the softest fur and the sweetest meow you will ever hear.
I am looking for a forever home.
I am altered and up to date on my shots.

My name is Buddy.
I am a Male Pit Bull Mix.
I am very friendly and love people.
I enjoy running and playing.
I prefer to be an outside only dog, inside makes me anxious.
I get along with other dogs and need a forever home.

Is it true that Michael Snyder was fired recently? If so, the public should know why, and who replaced him.
