King County Sheriff’s Seeking Public’s Help Finding Home Invasion Robbers
As we first reported last week – there was a home invasion robbery in Burien on Wednesday (Feb. 8th), when a group of three knocked on the door of a house in the 13500 block of 6th Ave SW in Burien, forced their way inside, assaulted a female resident, stole her credit cards, Xbox, games, jewelry and finally her car before escaping.
Now, King County Sheriff’s Detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying the three suspects in this crime, circulating the following two photos of what appears to be the ‘ringleader,’ a heavyset, 40-ish African American woman wearing a #9 Drew Brees football jersey:
Police say that the suspects knocked on the door of the residence and when the female homeowner opened the door they grabbed her forcing her back into the home. The suspects demanded money and credit cards from the 31-year old resident and a friend who was in town visiting.
The suspects fled in the victim’s vehicle after taking cash, credit cards, a gaming system and other items. The vehicle was recovered around 3 p.m. on Thursday in the 800 Block of SW 136th Street.
The three suspects are described as:
- Black female, 40 years of age, 5’9”, heavy build. She was last seen wearing a Drew Brees #9 Saint’s Jersey, black jacket, jeans and she carried a floral Hello Kitty cloth backpack. (see photos)
- Black male, 17-19 years of age, 5’10”, thin build, medium length hair, and was last seen wearing a dark hoodie, jeans, and he carried a blue backpack. This suspect referred to suspect #1 as his “mother.”
- Hispanic male, 15 years of age, 5’0”
If anyone recognizes this suspect or has information on this crime, they are asked to call the King County Sheriff’s Office at (206) 296-3311 (24 hours).
