The Normandy Park Police Department released the following scam alert to residents on Wednesday (Feb. 22), based on information passed along by Burien Block Watch members:

The Normandy Park Police Department would like to make the citizens of Normandy Park aware of a possible scam passed along by Burien Block Watch members.

It seems a former Electrolux Vacuum salesman has been making house calls, even though he was fired from the company over a year ago. The Block Watch member stated the suspect still had his business cards representing the company and his contact list. The BW member stated she refused payment to the salesman and he has been threatening her ever since.

If you are currently doing business with an Electrolux salesman and you feel they might be part of this fraud, you may call the Normandy Park Police Department at (206) 248-7600 for more information.

The Normandy Park Police Department is not currently investigating this salesman for any crimes in Normandy Park.

The Burien Police Department has apparently opened an investigation into the claims made by the Burien Block Watch member.

What this salesman needs is someone to let him he know would be a LOT better off
just getting his chicken sh*t a%$ outta dodge before he finds one of those electrolux vacuums plugged in,turned on and stuck somewhere he definitely wont enjoy.
