Burien City Council members agreed at Monday night’s meeting (March 19) to vote at their April 2 meeting whether to schedule an election on the annexation of North Highline for August 7, which is also the primary election date.

Should the council opt to delay a decision on an annexation election, they would still have another couple of months to schedule that vote for the November general election.
