
The King County Prosecutor’s Office reports that Martin David Pietz was arraigned Wednesday morning (April 4), when he pleaded ‘not guilty’ to a charge of Murder in the Second Degree for the strangulation death of his wife Nicole Pietz in January 2006.
The victim’s body was found in a wooded area in Burien in 2006 (read our previous coverage here), and Pietz was arrested and charged with her murder on Wednesday, March 21.
A case setting hearing is scheduled for May 2.
The defendant remains in jail on $1 million bail.
