Our friends at Discover Burien (we’re members, and Publisher/Editor Scott Schaefer is on the Board of Directors) want our Readers to know that they’ve moved into a new offices, right in the heart of downtown Burien.

The new space is at 427 SW 152nd Street, between A Place for Pets and the Aussie Pie Company, smack dab across the street from Burien Town Square – a perfect location for all the great upcoming B-Town events. The new digs also share a foyer with Continued Education Center.

“The new office will provide a visitors center for Burien, where information about the local community can be easily found in one location,” said Executive Director Gina Bourdage. “Members information will be displayed and available for the public. Members are encouraged to submit items for promotion/display of their business to the Discover Burien office along with necessary display stands.”

The new space boasts more than 500 square feet of a bright and welcoming atmosphere, and also provides a place for members to use as a meeting location for their businesses for 6-7 conference table arrangement and 9-12 pre reserved in a classroom style.

This is a very exciting thing, not just for Discover Burien, but also for all of Burien, its residents and visitors! To have one, centrally-located information hub will be a boon. I hope that there will be good sidewalk-level signage to let people know they should step inside. Congratulations!
