This past Thursday (April 26) Discover Burien Board President Brian Frederick and Executive Director Gina Bourdage (on left in photo) dropped by the Highline Schools Foundation for Excellence board meeting to deliver a special check.

Receiving the check on behalf of the foundation was Board President Janel Stoneback and Executive Director Ashley Fosberg (on right in photo).

The check for $1450 represents funds raised during a special event at the Discover Burien annual dinner this past March.

At that dinner, the Highline Schools Foundation for Excellence was named Non-Profit Leader of the Year.
