Burien-based Artist Maureen Hoffmann certainly has a keen eye for beauty, and while we’re not sure she ended up crying ‘What does it mean???‘ and sobbing like she was an overly-emotional man all alone at Yosemite, she did manage to take a great pic of a double rainbow on Thursday (April 26) from Three Tree Point:

“On this mixed-weather day, I had walked down the ‘sunset’ portion of the Indian Trail, along the (private property) beach to Three Tree Point and then up the ‘sunrise’ portion of the trail, on the cliff above SW 172nd Street,” Maureen told The B-Town Blog. “There was a rain squall coming from the south, and the setting sun in the west. The combo created a vivid double rainbow as I looked southeast toward Normandy Park and Des Moines.”

And just because we’re a rich multimedia website, here’s possibly the most infamous ‘double rainbow’ ever:

Whoa! That guy was trippin’ on something! I loved the double-rainbow yesterday, but didn’t have quite the experience the guy in the video had!

I want to know who lives in Normandy Park at the base of the brightest rainbow. Were there TWO pots of gold? A bigger one and a smaller one, relative to the brightness of the rainbows? Is it double-luck with a double-rainbow? Maybe that’s what it all means!

Be sure to turn the volume down when you look at the video or your spouse in the other room will accuse you of watching porn. Oh my God!!!
